Training Services offers a complete line of training courses on Identity Manager.
The purpose of this course is to enable administrators to perform basic administrative tasks using Identity Manager 4.5. The course provides instruction and hands-on experience with tasks such as installing the NetIQ Identity Manager Engine and drivers, configuring role-based services, eDirectory rights, and drivers, and administering Identity Manager
In addition, students learn how to use analyzer, manage policies and filters, use DSTrace to track driver content flow, and implement Identity Manager password synchronization.
The purpose of this course is to enable NetIQ Identity Manager administrators to perform advanced administrative tasks using Identity Manager 4.5. The course provides instruction and hands-on experience with tasks such as installing NetIQ Identity Manager Applications, configuring self-service password reset, using the User application, and creating a roles structure
In addition, students learn how to use the reporting module, access review with IDM, and customize the IDM Role Member report.
The purpose of this course is to enable NetIQ Administrators to perform advanced administrative customization tasks using Identity Manager 4.5. The course provides instruction and hands-on experience with tasks such as advanced package management, configuring eDirectory Group Policy, using XPath, ECMAScript, and regular expressions, creating a designer workflow, using entitlements, and branding and customizing reports.
This course is designed to upgrade the skill sets of existing Identity Manager 4.02 support personnel and update those skills in support of the new and enhanced features sets included with the Identity Manager 4.5 product.
The NetIQ Identity Manager 4.5 Engine Implementation and Administration Training course is targeted at perspective technical members of an Identity Manager Implementation team and IT staff that will be managing it.
This course teaches the core functionality of the Identity Manager 4.5 Engine. Implementers and IT Administrators will learn “Best Practice” guidelines for implementing , deploying and managing Identity Manager. Students will be performing installations and configuring an IDM environment throughout this training.

This course covers the NetIQ Identity Manager 4.5 Applications. This course teaches the extended functionality of the NetIQ Identity Manager 4 Enterprise product. You will learn to develop policies, implement advanced drivers, configure advanced reporting, manage entitlements and configure custom workflows. You will also learn to define and create roles with roles-based provisioning and customize the user application. This course and course 3109 together form the learning path for the Identity Manager 4 Administrator Certification (exam #050-730).
