This release includes the following known issue:
Issue: After configuring Network settings during the deployment of an Appliance on Vsphere, a blank screen appears.
Workaround: Perform the following steps to resolve the issue:
Wait for the Appliance Management Console to be available.
In a web browser, specify the DNS name or the IP address for the appliance with the port number 9443.
For example, https://10.10.10.1:9443 or https://mycompany.example.com:9443
Specify the administrative user name and password for the appliance, then click Sign in.
Click Reboot to restart the appliance.
You cannot directly upgrade the appliance from version 4.4 or earlier to version 4.6. You must first upgrade to version 4.5, which must occur via the appliance administration console (:9443). The suggested upgrade order from version 4.4 to version 4.5 is as follows:
Upgrade SSPR 4.4 to its respective latest patch using Online Upgrade option in the appliance management console.
Upgrade SSPR 4.4 latest patch to SSPR 4.5.0 using Product Upgrade option.
Upgrade SSPR 4.5.0 to its respective latest patch using Online Upgrade option.
Upgrade SSPR 4.5 latest patch to SSPR 4.6 using Product Upgrade option.
Reboot the appliance based on the prompt.
