9.1 Editing the SVG Code

To edit the source SVG code:

  1. In the Layout view, click Switch to Edit to edit the drawing.

  2. Click View Source.

    The SVG source code displays.

  3. Edit the code.

  4. When you have finished, click (Save) to save the edited code.

  5. Click Back to Preview to redisplay the Layout view.

    The XML validator examines the edited SVG code. If errors occur, the validator issues a message and attempts to highlight the problematic code.
