6.7 Configuring Channel for Downloading Packages

In addition to the Browse and Download option, which downloads available packages from a pre-configured location, PDT offers Configure Channel option, which allows you to add your channel URLs for package downloads. PDT reads these URLs for package updates and adds them to the available for download list.

To add your download channel URL:

  1. In the Packages menu, click .

  2. Click .

  3. Enter a channel name and a URL.

  4. Select the Enable check box for the channel URL to enable it.

  5. Click Save.

You can configure the PDT to read from multiple channels.

To delete a channel URL:

  1. Select the check box next to the channel URL you want to delete.

  2. Click .
