To install Designer on RHEL platform, the RHEL repositories should be created. For more information, see Installing OpenText Identity Manager on RHEL Servers.
This release does not support upgrading Designer from an earlier version, so if you have an older version installed, you will need to uninstall it before installing Designer 4.10. Also, the built-in auto-update and offline update features cannot be used to upgrade to Designer 4.10.
On a computer running SLES or RHEL, install the GNU gettext utilities (gettext) before installing Designer. These utilities provide a framework for internationalized and multilingual messages.
NOTE:We recommend you to obtain the dependent packages from your operating system subscription service to ensure continued support from your operating system vendor website. If you do not have a subscription service, you can find the recent packages from a website such as http://rpmfind.net/linux.
