8.0 Checking a Job’s Status

You can ensure that a job is configured correctly by checking its status. If it is not configured correctly, the status provides error messages instructing you what needs to be done for the job to run properly.

The following steps provide instructions for using OpenText Identity Console to check a job’s status. For information about using Designer to check the status of a job, see Scheduling Jobs in the Designer Administration Guide for OpenText™ Identity Manager CE 24.4 (v4.10).

  1. Click IDM Administration tab from the home screen.

  2. (Conditional) If you want to check the job status for a driverset:

    1. Click the Action menu icon on the appropriate driver set and select Driver Set Properties.

    2. Click Advanced > Jobs.

  3. (Conditional) If you want to check the job status for a driver:

    1. Click the driver to display the driver properties page.

    2. Click Advanced > Jobs.

  4. Select the check box in front of the job you want to check, then click Get status.

  5. Click OK when you have finished reviewing any errors.
