13.13 Save a Chart

When you Save a chart in the Analysis Console, you are assigning it a name to identify all your chart settings, such as the data streams to include, the style of chart to use for each data stream, the Chart Properties you selected, and any chart starter you used to create it.

You are not, however, saving the actual chart data, which is stored in the assessment database. If you choose to run the assessment again, an action that clears the original data from the database, the saved chart will reflect the data from the most recent assessment run.

Chart names may be up to 31 characters long. Do not use the following special characters:

[ ] \ / : * ? " < > |

Assign a unique name to each chart you save. If you try to save a chart with a name that already exists, you will be prompted to choose whether to overwrite the existing chart.

Any charts you create and save later appear in the “Your Charts” list in the Analysis Console Chart Tree.
